What I collect and why

The delivery diagnostic. When you complete the diagnostic I store your answers and the profile they produce. This is anonymous unless you choose to give me your details. If you ask for a copy of your profile I also store your first name, email address and, if you give it, your organisation, so I can send it to you. If you tick the box, I may also get in touch about your results. I rely on my legitimate interest in understanding who uses the diagnostic and providing what you asked for, and on your consent for getting in touch about your results. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Booking a call. If you book a call, the booking service Calendly collects your name, email address and anything you add to the booking, so we can meet. I rely on taking steps at your request before we work together.

Getting in touch and working together. If you email me or become a client, I keep the information you share so I can reply, deliver the work and send invoices. I rely on our contract, my legitimate interest in running the business, and my legal duty to keep financial records.

Visiting the website. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, your approximate location and the kind of device you use. It does not tell me who you are.

I do not collect special category information, and I do not make automated decisions about you. The diagnostic’s profile is a general pattern based on your answers, not a decision.

Who handles your information for me

I never sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing. These companies process it on my behalf: Google (Google Sheets, where diagnostic answers are stored, and Google Analytics), Vercel (hosts the website), Calendly (bookings) and Xero (invoicing and accounts, for clients).

Some of these companies store information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long I keep it

Diagnostic answers, and any details you gave with them, are deleted automatically after 24 months unless we work together.

Emails and client records are kept for as long as we are working together and for 2 years afterwards.

Invoices and financial records are kept for 6 years, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can also object to how I use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email jen@unjamcoach.co.uk and I will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
